High School Senior Seminar (7 / 1-hour sessions)
RERCNA offers high school seniors the opportunity to attend seminars that are designed as awareness programs. Seminars are conducted by industry professionals. Topics include:

The program discusses how to build and maintain a positive credit report, how to make corrections, and the consequences of a poor credit history.
Loans and Debt—Student, car, and personal loans, credit cards and mortgages; the power of borrowing money and the positive and negative impact each type of loan can have on your credit.
Car Insurance—Understanding car insurance terms, how it works, consequences of a poor driving record, and how it can impact a person financially.
Budgeting—For life, now and future and for planning major life projects.
Decision Making—Thinking through the risk and consequences of a decision; weighing the positive and negative impacts, both socially and financially.
Health Insurance—When, why, and how much insurance a person needs or wants; weighing the individual’s and family’s needs and comparing the needs to what insurance is available.
Bringing It All Together—How the topics discussed can affect you throughout life.
Seminars are held one evening a month for seven months. Students that attend all seven seminars will participate in a scholarship.
